Welcome to Florida Star Fiction Writers

Monthly meetings and workshops provide a comfortable forum where published and unpublished writers share knowledge about the ever-changing publishing industry. Whether you are a beginner with just the glimmer of a story in mind or a seasoned, multi-published writer, or whether you are indie or traditionally published, our group has something for you. Though we were founded by romance writers, our group is open to any adult writing fiction.

The next day, April 3, is Super Saturday, a full-day author workshop featuring bestselling authors April L. Moon and Jen Lassalle, co-hosts of the popular Tough Love Publishing podcast. Stay tuned for registration details.

Our conference will return in 2028. Details to come!

Meetings

We meet on variable Saturdays each month from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Some meetings are held in person in Melbourne, Florida. Others are held online and shared electronically with members. Members should check the online forum or private Facebook group for more information.

Regular monthly meetings in 2026 will be held starting at 12:30 p.m. at the West Melbourne Public Library, 2755 Wingate Blvd, Melbourne, Florida, mostly on the fourth Saturday, with some availability on Zoom. Please check the member forum or private Facebook group for details.
