About the presenters
Maria Geraci has been a published author since 2009, building a career that spans both sides of the industry. A hybrid author, she’s navigated the traditional publishing world with Berkley while also forging her own path as an indie author. Her contemporary romances have earned her two nominations for the prestigious RITA Award from Romance Writers of America. As an indie, Maria has learned firsthand that publishing is a business—and that understanding advertising, marketing, and the metrics behind them is essential to building a sustainable author career. These days, Maria has traded pure romance for a dash of the supernatural, writing paranormal cozy mysteries under the pen name Maggie March, where she combines her love of quirky characters, small-town charm, and just the right amount of ghostly mischief.
TJ Logan is an award-winning author of romantic suspense. Her second book, Deadly Disciple, won the coveted Linda Howard Award of Excellence for Contemporary Series, establishing her as a rising voice in the genre. Since beginning her writing journey in 2012, she has self-published multiple bestselling series including O’Halleran Security International and OSI Dark Ops. Her dynamic storytelling combines heart-pounding suspense with enduring love, creating page-turners that resonate with readers worldwide. Through her experiences as an independently published author, TJ has learned that having a great product (your book) is not enough. An author must also have a multi-pronged approach to get their books noticed. Marketing, advertising, promotions, and a strong advance reader team are required for your books to stand out in a highly competitive industry.
